Co-operation Ireland Maracycle

Saturday 26 & Sunday 27 June 2010

Co-operation Ireland’s flagship biking challenge Maracycle is back and will take place over the last weekend in June 2010. The chosen route will where possible, avoid main roads and heavy traffic and will involve cycling on rural country roads and also off road towpaths for part of the ride.

On Saturday 26 June, cyclists will leave Belfast and bike to Dublin, where they will stay overnight. Cyclists will leave Dublin on Sunday morning and retrace the route to finish in Belfast. One day options for Saturday and Sunday and a two day weekend option are all available. It is envisaged that in 2011, the event will start and finish in Dublin.
